Ihtimanska vous souhaites une très belle année 2015!

2014 a été une très belle année pour Ihtimanska. Notre premier album a reçu bonnes critiques sur le Devoir et le New-York Music Daily. Nous avons fait une série de concerts formidables à Montréal, Ottawa Kingston, Sutton et même une performance impromptue à New-York! Au courant de l’année, nous avons eu le grand bonheur de partager la soirée avec de talentueux musiciens et amis tels que Briga, Ventanas, Duo Turco, Michael Winograd et plus encore. Nous sommes définitivement content et choyé d’avoir eu un si beau public à chaque occasion et tenons à dire un grand MERCI pour votre présence et nous donner l’opportunité de partager avec vous notre complicité musicale.

Maintenant de belles choses s’organisent pour 2015…

Depuis cet automne, Ihtimanska travail sur du nouveau matériel avec objectif d’enregistrer un second album. Les nouvelles pièces offrent plus de défis et d’excitation au duo tout en continuant à développer davantage notre language musical.

Un tout nouveau clip video filmé durant l’été 2014 et réalisé par notre chère amie Magdalena Hutter vera bientôt le jour.

Durant l’hiver/printemps, nous préparons un nouveau double concert avec Duo Turco ainsi qu’une première visite à Toronto.

Ihtimanska warmly wish you a happy new year 2015!

2014 was a beautiful year for Ihtimanska. Our first album received great reviews from le Devoir and New-York Music Daily. We did a wonderful series of concerts in Montreal, Ottawa, Kingston, Sutton and even an impromptu performance in New-York! During the year, we had the great pleasure to share the evening with talented musicians and friends such as Briga, Ventanas, Duo Turco, Michael Winograd and more. We are definitely grateful and blessed to get such a beautiful audience for each performance and we want to say a big THANK YOU for your presence and to give us the opportunity to share with you our musical complicty.

Now, some sweet things are getting organised for 2015…

Since last fall, Ihtimanska work on new material in order to record a second album. The pieces offer more challenge and excitement to the delight of the duo as we continue to developp our musical language.

A new clip filmed during summer 2014 will be launched soon. Directed by our dear friend Magdalena Hutter.

During this winter/spring, we prepare a new double concert with Duo Turco and our first visit to Toronto.
